Our understanding of photography

Bülow65 is studio, photo studio and gallery in one. Images are not only shown here; they are developed from the first idea to the presentation in the room: we conceive, photograph, select, print and exhibit.

The photographic experiment is at the centre. We are interested not only in the finished image, but in the path towards it — trying, discarding, thinking further and working together. This is how our own projects, collaborations and exhibitions take shape, and visitors often become participants.

Bülow65 is a place of artistic production and encounter. It connects photography with the people of the neighbourhood and makes the process of making visible: from experiment to exhibition.
